**The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants** may soon take to the Broadway stage.
TheWrap reports Alcon and Alloy Entertainment have announced plans for the stage musical adaptation.
The musical will be based on the hit 2005 movie **The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants**.
The movie starred Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrara, Blake Lively and Alexis Bledel.
It follows four best friends in different locations who mail one pair of jeans to one another.
Blue Spruce Productions has acquired the live theatrical rights from Alcon and Alloy.
