VIDEO : Netflix Announces Mark Millar?s First Slate of Netflix TV Series and Films

According to a report by SFGate, Netflix announced on Tuesday that the first slate of films and series based on the stories of "Kick-Ass" and "Kingsman" comic book creator Mark Millar are headed to the streaming service. The Millar lineup will include two shows, 'Jupiter's Legacy,' helmed by Steven S. DeKnight, and 'American Jesus' based on the 2009 comic book series. Netflix will also be streaming three feature films ?Empress,? ?Huck? and ?Sharkey the Bounty Hunter" based on Millar properties. Netflix reportedly acquired Millar?s company, Millarworld, last year and has been developing projects with Mark and his wife Lucy Millar ever since.
