The Society of the Promotion of Japanese Animation has released its convention numbers. According to Comicbook.com, there was 110,000 ?unique attendees? at the 2018 Anime Expo. These numbers were less than the year before that reported 115,000 unique attendees. Yet last year they included the preview night numbers and this year they did not. The Anime Expo in 2019 will take place from July 4-7, with preview night on the 3rd.
