Salem Mitchell is a model who is opening up about her struggles with hair as a black woman. Mitchell said that having a weave in the summer is difficult because of all the sweat. She said having braids gives her a break about upkeeping and worrying about her hair. In a recent Instagram photo someone said that Vogue is showing off ?ghetto people.? Mitchell then explained that she is tired of people calling black women ?ghetto? for no reason. She said if someone else had the same look as her but wasn?t black, then it would be called ?trendy.?
