According to SF Gate, the Discovery Channel has ordered a one-hour documentary focused on the rescue of the boys? soccer team from a cave in Thailand. ?Operation Thai Cave Rescue? is slated to debut Friday on Discovery Channel and air Saturday on Science Channel. The documentary will explore how the team got trapped and how they survived without knowing how to swim. ?Operation Thai Cave Rescue? will also attempt to answer why the cave?s geology presented such extreme challenges. ?Operation Thai Cave Rescue? will be produced for Discovery Channel by ITN Productions.
