VIDEO : Disney Announces 'Maleficent 2' Theatrical Release Date

The long-awaited sequel to Angelina Jolie's live-action "Maleficent" movie won't hit theaters for another two years. Comicbook.com reports Walt Disney Studios finally announced a release date for the film. "Maleficent 2" is now scheduled to hit theaters on May 29, 2020. Both Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning are returning for the sequel, and they're being joined by Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Ed Skrein. Disney also announced the release date for "Jungle Cruise," starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, which is October 11, 2019.
