The incredibly popular kids show "Bear in the Big Blue House." aired on The Disney Channel from 1997-2006. During that time a young actor named Noel MacNeal played the affable Big Blue Bear. Noel is still a puppeteer and is working on his own show "The Show Me Show,". The new project will focus on kids with autism and special needs. Noel told Business Insider that he receives a lot of fan email from parents of kids on the autism spectrum and with special needs telling him how comforting Bear In The Big Blue House is for them. Noel said "I realized today there's no show like that where it's just sincere, it's just gentle, and it's just as comforting as Bear was, it's not too loud".
