VIDEO : Tom Petty?s Guitars Heading To Auction

It?s safe to say that Tom Petty?s music is woven into the fabric of American life.
Now, according to Rolling Stone, you can bid on some of the tools Petty used to write and perform some of his greatest hits.
Starting July 21st in Dallas Texas, Heritage Auctions will be auctioning off many of Petty?s items, such as his 1965 Gibson SG, and one of his signature top hats.
If you plan on bidding, be prepared to take out a loan, because his SG is expected to go for as much as $300,000.
