ComicBook.com is reporting that Pokemon Go has delayed a one day mini-event in Japan due to heavy rainfall marking the first time a Pokemon Go event has been postponed due to weather. Due to the popularity of the game and the number of new/returning Pokemon Go players the mini-event was slated to be one of the largest the mobile app has ever hosted. However, Niantic has decided to delay the event in Japan due to anticipated heavy rainfall that has forced evacuations and caused landslides and flooding.
