?Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? producer and co-writer Colin Trevorrow talked about character Ian Malcolm. According to Screenrant, Trevorrow said he never thought about giving Malcolm a larger role in the story. In fact, Jeff Goldblum who plays the character said the part was almost written out of the script. Yet Goldblum advocated for his character Malcom to stay. Goldblum has made Malcom a fan favorite thanks to his ?dry humor? and ?quirky performance.?
