VIDEO : 'Ant-Man And The Wasp' Expected To Outpace 'Doctor Strange' On Opening Weekend

According to a report by Comicbook.com, Marvel Studio's latest film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, is on pace to have a successful weekend at the domestic box office, with ticket pre-sales for the film already surpassing those of 2016's Doctor Strange. Ant-Man and the Wasp is reportedly projected to earn $80 million over its opening weekend alone. In comparison, Doctor Strange earned a little more than $85 million in its opening bow when it debuted in 2016. Coming on the heels of the wildly popular Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp offers Marvel fans a more family-friendly film and an escape for the holiday heatwave.
