Comicbook.com reports that actress Marina Sirtis hopes to return to the "Star Trek" franchise.
Sirtis played Deanna Troi, the USS Enterprise counselor, in "Star Trek: The Next Generation"
And now she's announced that she's game for a role on "Star Trek: Discovery."
Asked on Twitter if there?s a chance of her appearing on Discovery, Sirtis tweeted, ?I hope so."
Sirtis sparked rumors of a "Star Trek: Discovery" Season Two appearance before.
Paying a visit to the show?s set in Toronto, she reunited with Jonathan Frakes.
Frakes played Troi?s love interest and eventual husband Will Riker on "Next Generation"
He is also directing the second episode of Discovery?s second season.
