Within twelve hours of the release of Drake's new album 'Scorpion,' Spotify announced that streams of its tracks were at a rate of 10 million an hour. Rolling Stone reports that Scorpion?s first-day streaming total on the service came out at 132 million. On Apple Music, that figure was 170 million, marking the highest single-day streams ever reported by the two music services. Rolling Stone estimates that the streams made Drake $2.5 million in one day.
