The SF Gate is reporting that the U.S. box office is experiencing it's best quarter ever.
The second quarter of 2018 saw domestic grosses of $3.32 billion, a new industry record.
The box office was boosted by movies like 'Avengers: Infinity War.'
?Avengers? led seven films that grossed more than $100 million in tickets in the period.
2017 was the worst summer for the industry in more than a decade.
