CNN reports that the President's team is working on a new trade bill.
A draft of a bill would propose having the US abandon key World Trade Organization principles.
The bill would give the President significantly more discretion over US trade policy.
Trump ordered the draft legislation and was briefed on it in May.
The working title of the bill is "United States Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act."
