Gunn said that in its heyday, fans of 'Breaking Bad' would gang up against 'Skyler.'
Gunn says that at the time, it shook her--and she couldn't understand fans' reactions.
Now, she says, she understands it wasn't about her personally--or her character.
Rather, it was their overriding need to identify with Walt (Bryan Cranston) as a hero.
