Smith first worked alongside Willis when they both appeared in Live Free or Die Hard.
Then came Cop Out, a rare Smith directed project that the filmmaker didn?t pen himself.
Cop Out starred Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as NYPD detectives in pursuit of a rare baseball card.
Smith and Willis famously clashed on set.
Appearing on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast in 2011, Smith recounted his time working with Willis.
Smith said it left him ?beyond disappointed? as the star was ?one of the main reasons? he took on Cop Out.
