According to TheWrap, Vince McMahon is going all in with his plans for the new XFL.
The WWE chairman is putting $500 million of his own money to fund the first three seasons.
Fans may recall the XFL was a WWE version , which provided an alternative to NFL football.
It lasted only one season, in 2001, and folded quickly, losing money for WWE and partner NBC.
This year McMahon sold about $100 in WWE stock, moving it into Alpha Entertainment.
But he has now announced that he will also invest his own money in the venture.
The average salary for the XFL?s planned 40-man rosters is around $75,000 per player.
The All new XFL is scheduled to kick off in February of 2020.
