VIDEO : Danny McBride, John Goodman To Star In New HBO Comedy

Fresh off Vice Principals, Danny McBride is lining up his next act at HBO. The premium cable network has handed out a pilot order to comedy The Righteous Gemstones. McBride created the comedy and will pen the script, exec produce, direct and star in the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. John Goodman (Roseanne) will star as Eli Gemstone, the patriarch of the Gemstone family. The company's David Gordon Green will also exec produce the potential series.
