VIDEO : ?Halo? Live-Action Series Finally Heads Into Production At Showtime

According to a report by Uproxx, in the midst of the streaming media gold rush, Showtime has announced that it will officially be bringing Microsoft's long-awaited Halo series to life in a new live-action series. The project was reportedly last heard about in 2015, but is finally heading into production with a familiar sounding story centered around a space Marine as he fights aliens and gets embroiled in their politics and religion. Uproxx reports that the show is scheduled to start shooting early in 2019, with the ambitious goal of making a large-scale sci-fi series, similar to Amazon's epic Lord of the Ring Series.
