News broke earlier today that Jared Leto will play Michael Morbius, the tragic antihero.
According to ComicBook, Morbius is the subject of the Sony Marvel Universe?s upcoming spinoff movies.
Variety reported that his solo Joker film will not conflict with the Morbius role.
In Marvel Comics, Michael Morbius was a scientist searching for a cure to his own rare blood disease.
One of his experiments gave him the characteristics of a vampire, a thirst for blood and an aversion to sunlight.
