'L.A.'s Finest' is set to premiere in 2019 on Charter Communications.
Actresses Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba will star in the network's first scripted series.
The 13-episode series is a spinoff of Union's Syd Burnett character from Bad Boys II.
The Jerry Bruckheimer drama follows Syd, who has left her complicated past for a new life as an LAPD detective. Alba's character, Nancy McKenna is her new partner, a working mom with an equally complex past.
