VIDEO : Damon Lindelof 'Watchmen' Pilot Casts Jeremy Irons

Alan Moore's beloved "Watchmen" is headed to the small screen, courtesy of HBO.
And according to The Hollywood Reporter, the series Pilot has now cast actor Jeremy Irons.
The Oscar winner will headline the pilot from Damon Lindelof of "Lost" and "The Leftovers" fame
While HBO has been secretive on character details, Irons will play an imperious lord of a British manor.
He joins a cast that includes Regina King, Don Johnson, Louis Gossett Jr. and Tim Blake Nelson.
The series will reportedly depart from the 2009 film by Zack Snyder.
Lindelof's take will be set in an alternate history where "superheroes" are treated as outlaws.
