Meek Mill performed at the BET Awards and gave a powerful message about the criminal justice system. Mills recently was released from prison and was able to perform his song ?Stay Woke.? According to CNN, the song is the rapper?s first new music since being released. Mills went to jail for five months for a controversial sentence of a probation violation. After the performance he received a standing ovation and a flood of praise on social media.
