VIDEO : Friend Tried To Use Hanley Ramirez As A Cover Up For Drugs

Rumors were going around that former Red Sox infielder was involved in distributing opioid fentanyl. But according to Deadsping the Boston Globe as disproved those rumors. Ramirez is not involved but was simply name dropped by a friend who did have the drugs. The friend told a trooper searching his car he had a package that belonged to Ramirez. But when the trooper talked to Ramirez via FaceTime, Ramirez said he did not know about the package.
