In 2015, when AMC introduced Fear the Walking Dead, it put up huge numbers out of the gate. According to Uproxx, the West Coast zombie thriller grabbed 10 million overnight viewers with its premiere episode before settling down into the 6 million range for rest of season one. But in the disastrous season two of the series, ratings took a deep dive into the drink, dropping by 50%. The third leveled off some, though ratings did continue to decline. Byt the time season four hit, major shakeups were in order. Lennie James, Jenna Elfman and Garrett Dillahunt joined the cast, two new showrunners took over, and plenty of major characters were killed off. It worked--sort of. In other words, while the ratings didn't see a dramatic improvement over season three, it stopped the ratings erosion. It even slightly improved on season three's ratings.
