According to a report by Access Hollywood, co-founder and drummer of metal band Pantera, Vinnie Paul, has died at the age of 54. According to a Facebook post on Saturday morning, the band announced that Vinnie Paul, whose real name was Vincent Paul Abbott, had died. He and his brother, Dimebag Darrell, founded Pantera together in 1981. Paul was most recently in the band Hellyeah, a heavy metal supergroup comprised of Mudvayne vocalist Chad Gray and Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell.
