ABC recently got burned with its revival of 'Roseanne' due to the star's unmanageable nature. The network took a principled stand by canceling the show because of Barr's racist tweets. But now the network has opted for another revival --a Roseanne-free "Roseanne." ABC announced a new spinoff called 'The Conners,' featuring other characters from the show. ABC is hoping it can retain a portion of the audience that made "Roseanne" a surprise hit.
