According to Refinery29, MoviePass is about to disappoint its many subscribers.
CEO Mitch Lowe says the company will start charging an extra $2 for popular films on opening weekend.
The new charge is expected to be rolled out in coming weeks.
Many MoviePass subscribers have been skeptical as to MoviePass's business models.
But there is good news for MoviePass members.
The app will now feature a premium option of an additional $2 to $6 for IMAX or Real 3D showings.
A new option will also allow customers to reserve two tickets at once.
Though unfortunately they will need to pay full price for the additional ticket.
These recent changes have users worried that MoviePass' initial offer really was too good to be true.
