VIDEO : Dr. Dre Ok'd To Work On Marvin Gaye Movie

According to an exclusive Variety report, Dr. Dre is working on a movie about Marvin Gaye.
The hip-hop icon was reportedly given a go-ahead from Gaye's estate, which is seemingly no easy feat.
Many other filmmakers and Hollywood folks have tried to produce a movie about the legendary R&B superstar, including Lenny Kravitz, F. Gary Gray (Friday), James Gandolfini (The Sopranos), and Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous).
Actor Jamie Foxx also received a greenlight from Gaye?s estate in 2016 to create a limited series, but there's been no news since.
Gaye, knwon for his melodic voice, was a Motown legend who had 18 songs in the Billboard top 10 between 1963 and 1982.
