Lucy Hale is adding her voice to the growing number of people refusing to remain silent about their experiences with sexual misconduct. Allure reported that Hale shared a MeToo story of her own during a new interview. She said, ?I?ve experienced stuff on the small side, but assault is assault. I think there are a lot of people who have been intoxicated and taken advantage of. It?s happened to me and people I know. It's very common." In an earlier interview with Us Weekly, Hale alluded to the incident and spoke more generally about the MeToo movement by saying, "I just feel very honored to be around a lot of powerful women that are speaking up about it."
