Terry Gilliam has been in a legal battle over his project ?The Man Who Killed Don Quixote?...

But he has lost, and must pay his former producer for breach of contract.

Paulo Branco, a former producer on the movie, sued the ?Monty Python? member and tried to prevent ?Don Quixote? from premiering at the Cannes Film Festival.

Gilliam argued the contract was voided when Branco's company, Alfama Films, failed to provide funding for the film, giving him the right to find other producers.

?The Man Who Killed Don Quixote? is is a project Gilliam has tried to make but failed over the last 29 years.
