VIDEO : 'Incredibles 2' Breaks Box Office Records In Opening Weekend

According to a report by Buzz Feed News, Pixar's the Incredibles 2 opened at the domestic box office with an estimated 180 million-dollars, setting a new record for the opening weekend of an animated feature film. Previously, Pixar's 2015 film Finding Dory held the previous animated film opening weekend record, with 135 million dollars. The record-smashing accomplishment is welcome news for the animation studio, after being rocked by the announcement this month that its founder John Lasseter would be exiting the company following allegations of professional misconduct last year.
