VIDEO : Production Start Date Revealed For Joker Origin Movie?

According to comicbook.com, director Todd Phillips' Joker origin movie could start filming as soon as September in New York City. The film, which will also be produced by Martin Scorsese, is said to be a dark and gritty take on the legendary Batman villain that shows how he came to be the Clown Prince of Crime. The movie is also said to be eyeing a smaller budget, in the neighborhood of $55 million. This make sense being that the Joker doesn't really have any CGI-devouring superpowers to milk the budget. Should the movie also hit well with audiences it could be a huge profit boost for Warner Bros.
