According to a report by Buzz Feed News, singer Kesha's legal team has fired back against allegations that she texted Lady Gaga claiming that her music producer raped Katy Perry. The alleged text message has reportedly been at the center of a defamation lawsuit filed against Kesha by her former producer Dr. Luke. According to court papers, while the text did not specifically name Dr. Luke, who's real name is Lukasz Gottwald, it did claim that another recording artist had been "raped by the same man" who allegedly raped her. On Wednesday, court records revealed that Katy Perry was the other recording office. On Friday, Kesha's legal team said in a statement that the text claiming Perry was raped by Dr. Luke was a private message reiterating what they had heard from an unnamed music executive.
