Comedian Kathy Griffin recently spoke with USA Today about her comedy show and why she feels the need to address the current political climate in her work. This seems like a pretty natural conversation for the star who was once lambasted for posing in a photo with the faux-severed head of Donald Trump, but her response shocked many.
After discussing the need for comedy in "such an anxiety-ridden time for everyone", Kathy then directly criticized fellow comedian Kevin Hart for not even addressing Trump in his shows.
... If you want to not hear about Trump at all, go see Kevin Hart. He doesn?t even mention Trump. I personally think that?s a p? move because he?s a black man. But I guess he?s selling more tickets than I ever will.
