VIDEO : So Far Marvel Owns The 2018 Global Box Office

At the turn of the century, the idea of Marvel being a force in movies was not at the forefront of anyone's mind. Cut to 2018 and Marvel has taken the top three movies at the box office. According to Uproxx, 'Avengers: Infinity War' has officially racked up $2 billion. It's only the fourth movie to ever pull that off. Black Panther, at $1.34 billion, could be even more of a phenomenon, since it was a solo film largely unconnected to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And then there's Deadpool 2, which is currently at $655 million at the box office.
