VIDEO : Nat Geo's ?SharkFest? Now Double The Length Of Discovery?s ?Shark Week?

TheWrap reports that Nat Geo Wild?s ?SharkFest? is now set to be two weeks long. That's double the length of competitor Discovery Channel?s popular ?Shark Week" programming. The network's sixth annual ?Shark Fest? has also been moved ahead one week to air before ?Shark Week." Geoff Daniels, executive vice president and general manager of Nat Geo Wild, said, ?We are literally jumping the shark this year by serving a supersized feeding frenzy of jaw-some shark specials, and by taking the first bite, we?re giving Nat Geo Wild viewers a bonus week of the shark shows they love."
The two week event begins Sunday, July 15.
