According to a report by SFGate, Warner Brothers' and Village Roadshow's 'Ocean 8' is already off to a good start at the box office, taking in 15.4 million-dollars on Friday, as industry estimates put the film's opening weekend at 41 million dollars. That would make it the best opening weekend of any of the other films in Steven Soderbergh's 'Oceans' trilogy. Ocean's 12 reportedly holds the franchises' current record with 39.1 millions dollars. SFGate reports that the numbers seem to show that 'Ocean's 8' is on its way to the same long-lasting box office success as its male-cast counterparts.
