Reuters reports smash hit ?Game of Thrones? is getting a prequel series!
According to Reuters, it's the first green light for five potential spinoff projects for the award-winning medieval fantasy.
The series will take place thousands of years before the events of ?Game of Thrones."
It will chronicle ?the world?s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour."
HBO brass say any spinoffs won't be run until at least a year after the final season of "GoT" in 2019.
