John Lasseter will exit his post as chief creative officer of Pixar and Disney Animation. According to TheWrap, Disney made the announcement on Friday, June 8. Until December 31, Lasseter will assume a consulting role at The Walt Disney Company. After December 31, he will leave the company. Lasseter issued a statement saying he remains "dedicated to the art of animation."
