Ride Along star Tika Sumpter is taking on the female lead in Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
No details have emerged about her character yet.
Sumpter will star alongisde Westworld?s James Marsden who plays Tom, a human cop who aids a computer-generated Sonic on his adventures.
In 2014, talks of a Sonic movie emerged and have since crystallized at Paramount. Jeff Fowler is set to direct the live-action-CG adaptation.
