Celebrity chef and writer Anthony Bourdain has died of an apparent suicide in France, CNN reports. ?It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain,? the network said in a statement on Friday, June 8. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time.? French chef Eric Ripert found him unresponsive in his hotel. Bourdain?s death comes days after designer Kate Spade was found dead at age 55 in a bedroom of her NYC apartment on Tuesday, June 5.
