The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo?s U.S.-bred sequel has been in the works for over seven years. The first film directed by David Fincher had a lukewarm box-office success. This was a surprise as U.S readers inhaled Steig Larsson?s Millennium trilogy. It seemed that the U.S audience was not excited about a continuation of the version directed by David Fincher. The new film skips the second two Larsson books and heads into author David Lagercranz?s picking up of the story. Lagercranz wrote The Girl In The Spider?s Web after Larsson?s death. The movie is directed by Fede Alvarez who is a master of suspense. Claire Foy is stepping into the goth shoes of Lisbeth Salander. The new Mikhail Blomkvist will be played Sverrir Gudnason.
