Val Kilmer will reportedly appear opposite Tom Cruise in the sequel to ?Top Gun?. Kilmer played aviator Tom ?Iceman? Kazansky and Cruise?s chief rival in the 1986 movie. Titled ?Top Gun: Maverick,? the sequel to the action movie is set to hit theaters July 12, 2019.
