President Donald Trump has granted convict Alice Marie Johnson clemency. Kim Kardashian has been pushing for her freedom for months. The reality TV star met with the president last week to discuss Johnson's case. Johnson is a first-time nonviolent drug offender who was serving a life sentence without parole. Kardashian took to Twitter after the meeting to write, ?Best news ever!!!! So grateful to @realDonaldTrump, Jared Kushner & to everyone who has showed compassion and contributed countless hours to this important moment for Ms. Alice Marie Johnson. Her commutation is inspirational & gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of as second chance." Kardashian was reportedly the one to tell Johnson that she was released.
