Rae was the host of the 2018 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
She wore a sparkly one-shoulder blue Pyer Moss dress that was cinched at the waist with a powerful message.
The message, spelled out on a black belt with white embroidery, said, "Every Nig** is A Star.?
