VIDEO : 'Heathers' Reboot Scrapped After School Shootings

The ?Heathers? reboot has been scrapped following several mass school shootings across the US. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the TV series reboot of the 1980s film has been scrapped from Viacom?s Paramount Network. It was slated to hit TV screens later this year. The show?s initial airdate had been pushed back from March 7 following the tragic February 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in which 17 people were killed. The show was then slated for July, but Paramount Network executives decided against it following the recent Santa Fe school shooting, in which 10 were killed.
