But, a role in the film helped Chris Hemsworth become more effective in playing Thor.
In the film, Hemsworth played gorgeous but dim witted Kevin Beckman.
Before working on Ghostbusters, he played it safe on set.
Hemsworth said working on Ghostbusters allowed him to be comfortable in improvising.
Thor 3 was hugely improvised.
