VIDEO : Wil Wheaton Opens Up About Depression And Anxiety

Wil Wheaton is best known to Star Trek fans as Wesley Crusher, the youngest regular cast member on Star Trek: The Next Generation. According to a report by comicbook.com, more recently Wheaton is opening up about his own life and his lifelong struggle with anxiety and depression. He recently gave a talk at a National Alliance on Mental Illness conference in Ohio. Wheaton goes on to explain how he?s learned to accept and deal with his mental illness: Wheaton writes: ?So I am here today to tell anyone who can hear me: if you suspect that you have a mental illness, there is no reason to be ashamed, or embarrassed, and most importantly, you do not need to be afraid."
